Local man takes in 100 stray dogs and gives them homes. Dogs who have been living off the street without food, now are loved.Jerry Smith started doing this as a project to show his kids the importance of giving back. He began every day taking in one dog until his house got too full. Smith ended up recruiting others to start fostering these dogs as well.
After three months Smith has recruited 25 people to foster.Within a year he has found 50 of the dogs new homes. He has people lined up waiting for dogs. Each of his dogs gets their own instagram profile which then lures in potential owners. Smith saidThese dogs are everything to me, they have taught my kids and I so much about giving. This started as just a small project and has turned into something I am so incredibly proud of
